What your agents can do
Once connected, VIS42 agents have three Google Drive capabilities:- Search your Drive for files by keyword — returns up to 20 matches with name, type, and last-modified date
- Read a file’s content — Google Docs are converted to Markdown, Sheets to CSV, and Presentations to plain text, so agents can process them directly
- Download a file to VIS42 storage — the file is saved locally so it can be attached to an invoice or bill
- Ask Mercury to “read the Q3 revenue spreadsheet from Drive” and it will fetch the Sheet as CSV and summarize the figures.
- Ask Themis to “attach the signed contract to this invoice” and it will download the file and link it.
- Ask Pluto to “find the audit checklist in Drive” and it will search for and read the document.
Connect your Drive
Open agent settings
Open any agent (Mercury, Themis, or Pluto) and scroll to the Connected Services section.
Privacy and scope
- The connection is per user, per business — each team member connects their own Google account.
- VIS42 requests access to your Google Drive files. It can read and download any file your account can access.
- Your access token is encrypted at rest.
- Disconnect at any time from Connected Services in the agent settings page. Your token is revoked and removed from VIS42.

Search matches file names and content. Try using a more specific keyword, or paste the file name exactly as it appears in Google Drive.

Downloads require a separate permission. Disconnect and reconnect — the consent screen will request the required permissions again.

In your Google Account, go to Security → Third-party apps with account access → find VIS42 → Remove access. You’ll also want to disconnect from VIS42’s agent settings to clean up the local record.
